How can the MIPS Consulting team help your practice?

By ION

As the MIPS program becomes increasingly complex, the MIPS Consulting team is ready to help practices – large and small.  The time and resources required to stay on top of new performance measures and changing submission point levels can be a serious drain on any practice.  You are dependent on your staff to be aware of changing regulations, analyzing data throughout the year, identifying potential glitches, on top of reporting the final performance data.  And not reporting can lead to up to a negative nine percent adjustment in CMS reimbursements in the following years.

Are you aware of the various services the team offers?

Reporting:  step by step management through the performance year; up-to-date and consistent reporting for your Eligible Clinicians (and understanding who those clinicians are in your practice); assistance in selecting either Individual or Group reporting, based on your preferences and what may help you achieve your best score.

Education: helping you understand the requirements around using CEHRT (which is now required); helping you understand the Quality Payment Program under CMS; assistance in determining the eligibility of the “Opt-In” option; and analysis of data to help you consider workflow solutions to meet your performance goals for MIPS.

Communications: an introduction packet with your senior consultants’ contact information, program details, and binder overview; ongoing email communications to ensure feedback between the MIPS team and your practice; virtual meetings conducted on a regular basis to discuss data and possible opportunities for improvement (if needed).

Data Submission: data submission reports and completed confirmation documentation, along with verification will be provided; submission of data through reporting options allowed by CMS.

The MIPS Consulting team can also work with your practice to decide which performance measures might be the best for you to submit, based on your practice size, specialty and workflows. The team has utilized several EHRs and registries to gather and submit data.
